DENTAL CLEANING

DENTAL CLEANING

The American Dental Association recommends that you brush your teeth at least twice a day, and floss once a day to keep your teeth and gums clean and healthy.  In addition to your daily oral care routine, the American Dental Association recommends semi-annual dental cleanings and exams. At Lasting Smile Dental, we can perform your cleanings and exams, helping you to optimize your oral health care.

Deep Cleaning

Deep Teeth Cleaning and dental exams are integral components of your oral care routine, helping you to keep your mouth happy and healthy. They also help us detect and provide prompt treatment for oral health issues in their earliest stages, avoiding severe consequences. It is time for your teeth deep cleaning. Call us to today to schedule your appointment at (586) 207-1091.

DENTAL X RAY EXAMS

X-rays are an important part of your oral healthcare record. Using digital X-ray technology, we take images of the inside of your mouth so that we can see the structures of your mouth that cannot be seen with the naked eye. This includes between your teeth, the roots of your teeth, and your jawbone. X-rays help us to monitor the health of your teeth and jaws, as well as enable us to spot issues that we might otherwise miss.

Be sure to add a dental visit to this year's spring cleaning list. A professional dental cleaning at least twice a year can improve your oral health, reports the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization of general dentists dedicated to continuing dental education. People who regularly practice good oral hygiene at home with proper brushing and flossing techniques typically do not experience discomfort during a cleaning. However, those who have neglected their oral hygiene habits may experience some discomfort or sensitivity during a dental cleaning. During professional deep teeth cleaning, you’ll receive diagnostic and preventive services from your dentist as well as any needed educational information.
